The minor detail that you didn't address in the above is that Rick said such
wasn't possible via error correction alone.
All he is saying is that there HAD to be data compression as well.
Are you contending otherwise?
For my part, I do NOT get anywhere near full throughput on compressed files,
so regardless of anything else, I would have to take this with a couple
grains of salt. There ARE more than a couple of issues that CAN impact what
you have reported.
