AH>Hi & welcome, Daryl! Recently you wrote in a message to ALL:

Hello, Ardith...

Got to keep the moderators happy. :)

I have my wife beat on ailments, but she beats me on medications. :)

There are several blind ham radio operators in central Arkansas, and
one night...one of them did a "blind joke net" on one of the repeaters.
Everyone was laughing their faces off!! :>

AH> Ah. There's an echo called APNEA where the moderator posts some ve

Both the wife and I have Sleep Apnea, and we have CPAP machines.
However, at the complex for the disabled where we live in the western
part of Little Rock...it got new owners late last year, and the
renovations required everyone be moved to a new apartment. While we were
one building over and 2 doors down, it has been a nightmare. It may be
sometime in August before we get everything organized. It took 2 weeks
to find out diabetes testing items (the wife is diabetic, and tests 4
times a day...I test once a week, as I'm over 45)...and I am not sure
where all our CPAP stuff is.

AH> Understood. We've had folks in here with PTSD too.

Excuse the ignorance, but what is PTSD??

AH> Sounds as though you've had a tough time of it, all right... (sigh)

  What was your first clue?

AH> Well... in my experience, the wheels of bureaucracy grind slowly.

They can give themselves a raise (Congress), but with all the fraud
out there, they take "forever" in getting help to those who really
deserve it.

AH>fact that you haven't heard anything negative might be a good sign. It's

That's what I'm thinking...as in the past, it took about 2 months to
get the "denial notice". But, it is going on 4 months now since the
hearing. I spent 3 months in a wheelchair in 1971, when I had to have
arches built into my feet (I was born without any)...so, I have no
problems being in a wheelchair...except for blisters on the hands.

Thanks for the feedback...I'll keep everyone posted.

Daryl
