G'day Ross 20 Sep 04 12:37, Ross Cassell wrote to Michael Grant: RC> If someone did, it still doesnt matter, it all still falls back to RC> the DNS you did setup. RC> Is this DNS aliasing published somewhere? In my DNS service. If you were to ping it, it should eventually resolve to his IP. Of course, when your machine trys to resolve the above it will get redirected to whatever Michael has listed in the nodelist. When it trys to resolve that, it will get redirected to whereever his listing points to. Michael has full control of this DNS listing - by controlling what he PUBLICLY PUBLISHS in the nodelist. As he changes his listing and the nodelist is republished PUBLICLY, my DNS will change to reflect the change. Regards, David --- Msged/LNX TE 06 (pre)* Origin: Make love, not war.
