TransX v2.7 has been released!

TransX is an inexpensive solution to the high cost of running long-distance
Fidonet compatible connections. In essence, TransX is a Fidonet mailer that
uses Internet email as a transfer medium rather than requiring you to call
the remote system directly to transfer mail.

TransX will scan through your mail system, looking for mail destined to
sites you have setup in your connections list and upon finding any, it will
encode the mail and any attached files and send them to the remote site via
email. The remote site would then use TransX or another email program to
decode these messages back into their original state, just as if you had
called directly and dropped them off.

Development on v3.0 will begin later this month and will include support
for more mailers as well as MIME encoding and direct FTP send/receive.
