Nor do I.
One problem with leaving the system on all the time is increased dust being
sucked into the case.
I always put my computer into standby mode when I'm not using it. This
shuts down the disk drives, CPU fan, power supply fan, case fan, and
graphics card fan.
In addition to the dust, all of these moving parts surely have a mechanical
run-time lifetime after which bearings will be worn to the point of
failure.
