While I realize that they
>are busy and it was nice of them to show up at all, later when I
>mentioned to the Asst. Principal that I was disappointed she had missed
>the next thing I showed right after she left, she said, "Oh, you're the
>expert..." meaning she doesn't really care to learn it herself, I guess?
>But they do seem willing to back us with some $$$ for training.
So long as they will fund it they will be the loosers for not paying
more attention. IMO computers will be in the class room and in many
cases even improve the education system as a whole. They were really
helpful to my kids in their studies through the years. That was the
real reason I bought my first computer and I have to admit even my
latest one. MY old 386 does more than I need for what I use a computer
for. I am very happy that your project will receive some valuable
training funds. I think too often people in and out of the education
field fail to realize the importance of education for the educators.
