This is true.  If you go with small claims, you really can go through
that process yourself with just a bit of determination.  When you file,
the clerks office will usually help you out.

I would be very careful of writing articles and making any allegations
when you may have a potential legally active situation pending.  I am
sure if you follow through with this you will consult with an attorney
first to ensure you don't liable yourself in the process.  (Sorry but I

Well, I guess we are all bound to get burned now and again.  But as one
of the echo participants pointed out in a previous message on this
subject, this person could be suffering from personal family problems as
well at this time which might account for some of this lack of
communication.  As a business person, I still feel that she has at least
a moral obligation to keep you informed, etc.  good luck..
