Replying to a message of James Bradley to Bob Ackley: BA>> Last spring (2007) I picked up a pickup box trailer for BA>> $20. Cost me $25 to get the flat BA>> tire fixed so I could tow it home. And another $75 or so BA>> to get the parts to fix the lights BA> on it. JB> Oh, hell... I'd have had you covered with the lights. Shucks, I probably could've got generic light assemblies that would've worked from O'Reilly's for about $20, but I wanted to use the factory fixtures. Found them on a dead pickup in my favorite auto-parts graveyard and found brand new plastic lenses (for a 1975 vintage truck) on the Internet. Those red plastic lenses were the expensive part at $51 for two. --- FleetStreet 1.19+* Origin: Bob's Boneyard, Emerson, Iowa (1:300/3) SEEN-BY: 10/1 3 14/300 34/999 90/1 120/228 123/500 134/10 140/1 222/2 226/0 SEEN-BY: 249/303 261/20 38 100 1404 1406 1418 280/1027 633/104 260 262 267 SEEN-BY: 712/848 801/161 189 2222/700 2320/100 105 200 2905/0 @PATH: 300/3 14/5 140/1 261/38 633/260 267 |
