How often do kids stand up an quote their parent as the "authority" and are
conflicted to learn that what daddy or mommy told them was to say the least
inaccurate? Isn't it akin to discovering that one has blue eyes from parents
with genes that could not result in blue eyes? Isn't it a measurement of the
school's success when students graduate with the skills to think and reason
independently?
How much does having accuracy-challenged information from parents inpact a
kids ability to accept new information from teachers?
