  Yow!  Are they having the Blue Frog Syndrome? (so effective the spammers
become exasperated and they DOS you to death).

   On a related note, I have seen DNS probing in the last day with very
unusual packets.   I don't have an actual packet dump yet so I don't know
if it was fragged or oversize UDP packets.     Just a wild guess - it might
affect the Barracuda.
