(I recall your name, from some years ago?). Tks for the input. I've got a 
Full Newsgroups List of 660 kB here, but not everything is what it says...
I subscribed to airnews.general, but it was NOT aviation related :-)
So 2 days later I unsubscribed again...
I'll give the two you are hooked up to a try, and try to find some more.
