That is what I have been saying for years, but for our American friends WW2 in
Europe only started June 6 1944.

The German armies were already in full retreat but you need to give credit to
the Brits for sinking nearly the complete German fleet and winning the Battle
of Britain already in 1940 ... a year and a half before Pearl Harbor.
