Another idea, instead of using the version number, which leads to keep
the increment, you could commit a timestamp that is better than the hash
to somehow identify "the version" of the file

Always, you can reply with "please, update the latest version at
https://gitlab/lablab/lastest+all+fixed+now/msglist.js and try again"
