She received my certified check by Fedex on Dec 6th at 11am. Since then
I have been leaving messages on her answering machine to call me.
Ed is home, he picked up the phone on Dec 11th. Said Barbara was not home,
though I HEARD her in the background. Another day, I heard her pick up the
phone and her her voice saying--"I'll just put the answering machine on, Ed."
So Ed is not sick, he is home!
EH> respectable lady. There are BOUND to be extenuating circumstances
EH> involved here and I feel you should give this situation the benefit of
EH> the doubt!
I considered her a close, dear and trusted friend. I have been calling her
everyday since Dec 6, 1996. She has NOT returned my phone calls yet.
Whether something happened or not, as a dear friend, I would expect to hear
from her. A five second call to me saying--things are tough, or whatever..
would have gone a long way with me.
EH> For one thing, I know Ed has had a heart attack, and that they've
EH> experienced a severe freeze down there. Either one or both may have
Yes, it is MY RINGNECKS that are down there in that severe freeze.
I would like to know how my two thousand five hundred dollars worth of birds
are doing in that severe freeze. He had that heart attack a good month ago.
EH> delayed your birds and perhaps caused communication difficulties.
Her phone and email are working just fine. I have left several messages
on her answering machine begging her to call me. I left messages saying
I was very very worried about her and Ed--to please PLEASE call me.
EH> How about cutting her some slack?
Okay, so i have been calling her for one month with no answer from her,
she has hung up on me three times and once refused to come to the phone.
She has all of my money and all my birds--but I should get her some slack?
If she sends My Birds to me--she can have all the slack she wants.
