And came back to a fire storm. Ah, well, we seem to go through this
type of thing periodically...

Like I was saying. It's rather silly, when it comes down to it. I
once said in a similar discussion in the past that it's like trying to
prove to me that red is better than blue. ;)

SD> Metallica,
Which one? I have "Master of Puppets" and "...And Justice for All." I
think I'd like to pick up the black album or "Ride the Lightning" next,
though my spouse is partial to what he's heard of "Load." (I should watch
what I say - that will start a whole other war. )
SD> Notorious B.I.G.,
The only thing I can honestly say that I've heard that was him was
actually a guest thingy on Michael Jackson's "HIStory" album.
SD> Depeche Mode (the "Ultra" CD),
I have this, but my husband's always got it.
SD> Lorenna McKennitt,
I know I mentioned recently that I finally picked up one of her albums,
"The Visit." "Mummer's Dance" is getting a fair amount of airplay over
here, so I may have to put "Book of Secrets" (that's the new album,
right?) down as the next of hers to acquire.
SD> Erasure,
Like these guys. :) Have "The Innocents" and the compilation album -
great, got all my favorites.
SD> a few techno Cds of various artists,
Sort of one of those new areas I'm checking out, but it's rather hit and
miss. :( For example, I have Moby's "Everything is Wrong" (because of his
work on the "Cool World" soundtrack) and I love some of the stuff, but
other songs get on my nerves actually!
SD> Type O Negative (Gawd, I love that band! :),
Still haven't figured out exactly what to think of these guys.
SD> terrific Beethoven CD by the London Symphony Orchestra...
I actually don't buy that many classical CDs. When I need a "fix," I
usually just listen to my local NPR station (other than the syndicated
shows, that's the bulk of what they play).
Anyhow, my most recent purchase was Madonna's latest. Good, but very
different that her past stuff. As you may have noticed by my NP's lately,
I've sort of been on a Madonna kick lately!

Do you have "The Wedding Singer" soundtrack? That sounds like a good one.
I actually haven't even seen the movie yet, but I would like to (big
surprise! )

I hear ya! Still, sometimes it's fun to do otherwise.
