subject: Beer Chicken

What you need:
1 whole Chicken not cut up (thawed)
2 Cans of Beer (more if possible)
I recommend doing this on the Grill, but it can be done in the Oven as
well. For the oven preheat it to 350 and get a oven safe dish with high
sides.
Clean the Chicken. Throw away all the gizzards & the Neck.
Take one can of Beer and open it. Sit the Chicken over the can of Beer
to where the chicken is standing up, and the beer is holding it up. Put
it on the grill that way.
For the oven do the same thing, but you might need to put a rack on your
pan, so the chicken will not slip and fall.
Sit down and open the other can of beer. Drink at a leisurely pace.
Cook until the chicken is done, I always put a fork in the leg and see
if the meat is loosened.
When it is done, there will still be beer in the Can, not much but it
will still be there. Be very careful when taking the chicken off the beer
can as the left over beer is steaming. (on a grill be very careful, as if
the beer spills it can make a lot of ashes come up and get on your
chicken.
When I first herd of this I thought that the person that told it to me
was a Nut case, but after trying it, it was the juiciest chicken that I had
ever eaten. :)
