Side anecdote:

Vanderbilt University has been pushing all their employees to do as much
paperless as possible.  Well, where Shelley work, the Registrars office,
there is an entire section that when getting email requests for
transcripts, that they really just have to push a couple of buttons to
transmit the request to be filled, actually prints out EVERY piece of email
that they get, then they read it, then they do the onscreen stuff.  They go
through REAMS or paper a week.  Shelley says at times it looks like those
doctored copy machines where the paper flies out, in commercials...

Unless you remove all the printers, you'll never get paperless to work...LOL..
