This is so clearly bullshit that I feel compelled to call you on it. =
You do of course realize that all the folks working on this stuff use =
computers day in and day out and in many cases are far more expert and =
familiar than you. You whine and whine about how much you hate the idea =
that computers should be helpful and how it is too much of a burden for =
you to customize the UI to your preferences. Do you realize how shrill =
you sound?
Speaking for myself, I use computers for what often feels more than =
24 hours a day. Daily I use Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Windows =
Vista, and Windows Server "Longhorn". For the server products I
change = the UI to match the client UI, the opposite of what you seem to
think = those in the know would do. I don't experience any of the
confusion you = claim to feel when using the computer.

It is because Microsoft is absolutely focused on the newbie user and =
screw
the people who know how to work a computer. It's the AOL of OS =
(pronounced
allofus)..
