| subject: | Four Wheel Drive |
Following up a message from Steven Horn to Bjoern Forsstroem About Bad weather: BF> The other day a laid my Chevy S10 in a ditch. Even though I drove BF> with the 4WD it still couldn't stay on the road. It was a bit a of BF> snow-mud but but never the less. BF> Nothing broken but my confidence for the 4WD thing.... Four Wheel Drive is just another way of getting into real deep trouble, if you are to the point you need it you are more than likely way too late. I have found that four wheel drive just gives one a false sense of security. It has its place, but treacherous driving conditions is not one of them. I have never had four wheel drive, I figure I am crazy enough with two wheels driving, four would get me further into trouble.:-) Hope this helps. Keep us posted. We are a fine board trying to make it better. http://www.pris.bc.ca/ghannah ghannah{at}pris.bc.ca Cheers!
