The problem is that you won't find any comparables in the southern
hemisphere. Even southern Chile and Argentina are only about 58ø south
latitude.

Isolation might be a factor but the Yukon has a good all-weather highway
out and twice-daily 737 service in the winter. I still think that short
days and rotten weather has something to do with it.
