Hi, Robert Bashe!
I read your message from 10.08.2017 08:51
ak>> In 1939 the USSR had returned the captured territories _strictly

RB> You're confusing WWI with WWII. And ignoring the fact that

RB> was "rewarded" by German territory. Why do you think Koenigsberg is
RB> now isolated "Kaliningrad"?
Both WWars ended with a division of German heritage. After WW1 Germany
lost its vast overseas territories and many other territories. Russia
didn't participate in the afterWW1 pie division. Russia itself was
chunked by Poland as if Russia was a German ally. ;-)
After WW2 Poland as a country who fought Hitler had got some German
territories as a reward. The USSR for its efforts in WW2 got Koenigsberg.
Bye, Robert!
