Well because it's not tested... it's ok, you have to run the untested
patches but they can't release it as a full product because well.. it's
untested.

They should take a page from linux, release two versions, last known stable
build and current build. Those are really the only two choices that matter
anyway. Problem is, how do you program a wizard to make that decision for
you?
