well they called where the house was "old city". The establishing shot 
sure looked like NY and as the camera moved over "old city", it would be 
the equivalent neighborhood of Williamsburg in Brooklyn.  For those of 
you familiar with Brooklyn my guess would place it somewhere between 
Fort Greene and Williamsburg.
