subject: Re: RAID in W2k3 - how to check it

From: "Geo"

Exactly the reason I've been using mirroring for all my web servers. Mail
servers I go raid 5 because of speed issues and I can't afford any downtime
so a drive failure is really bad and the hot spare setup can make a huge
difference. Web servers aren't as critical so a reboot isn't as
unacceptable and a mirror resync isn't as noticable.
