At one point, you agreed to give Microsoft admin rights on your PC.

The program is probably just deleting all your illegal music files, and
reporting back to Microsoft that it found them and deleted them.  That
would complete the transaction, and the RIAA will pay Microsoft for playing
cop.  Or maybe there's a different why it is phoning home.
