In politics, storytelling is the easy part.  The hard part is knowing
what the principle is.  For O'Neill, politics was always about values
combined with instincts.  Put that together and you get a rule.

Unfortunately, in today's politics it is all about sound bites on
TV and putting a fresh spin on your message.  No more storytelling,
or entertaining an audience.  Truly sad.

The same has been happening in fido, as Bj”rn correctly pointed out.
Bj”rn also hinted, correctly, that what fido needs is not new stories,
but new audiences.
