The JAM message bases in 1.07.3 were not 100% compatible with JAM message
bases, for one. That was fixed somewhere in 1.08-1.10 I believe. However, I
mention "mbases.dat" because these are Mystic's data files, and have nothing to
do with JAM message bases.
Starting over with fresh Mystic data files once you convert to OS/2 may
actually fix your FSE problems. Since you're already deep into this, it's
probably worth a shot.

Again? This was the first time this has come up. Did you think we discussed
mbases.dat before this thread?
While it may be the OS/2 code, it may also be the fact that you're trying to
use the DOS version's data files for the OS/2 version. May not be a problem at
all, but it might be as well. I was only offering ideas. If you don't care to
try fixing your issue, I don't mind if you sit there with a broken 1.07.3/OS2
full screen editor forever, bub.
Either way, that version isn't supported any more, nor will it ever be. So the
best thing you're going to get is help from your peers in trying to resolve it
- which is exactly what I'm trying to do.
Regards,
Nick
