Sometime around [Tuesday August 29 1995 22:37], the world exploded when andrew clarke wrote some meaningless drivel to Jon Phipps on the matter of Hmmmm ac> In reality it is virtually impossible to make any assumptions on where a ac> mail bundle came from by parsing the bundle's filename alone; you must ac> process the mail packets contained therein. True enough but the reason that I wanted the info was to allow the users to continue using what ever mailer that they are now. So if someone is using FD then the bundles will use that naming scheme if they are using Bink the old ?lo file sytem will take over this will allow more flexibility for the user. I will be getting the origin system as well as any other pertinant info from the bundle and packet headers.
