I am now using Procomm Plus for DOS.  It has better capabilities than any 
TNC software I found yet.  You can configure the ALT-1 - ALT -
10 keys do the same job.
     I also found Propack.asp which is a program Procomm can run using
ALT-F8.   
     It searches for beacons and types out a report.
