It really needs curses or ncurses.  I used

BeOS seems to be missing some functions that attach.c and dirlist.c use,
but I did manage to get it to build and run by commenting some of the code
out.  I must admit it looked quite nice running inside a Terminal window.

Note that I really didn't spend enough time porting it properly, so it may
crash or freeze, but it seemed to work fine in my limited testing, reading
and writing mail to a Squish base using the internal editor.  When I have
time I may have a closer look at the code and do a proper job of it.
