Actually, I owuld much prefer to hang on to it with the hope of either
finding the manuals for it and fixing it myself or finding someone who
can fix it without charging an arm and a leg to do it.  It's marked as
an RT-15984/PRC-127, and I am told it is the same as a Bendix King,
which I believe is a commercial unit.  Do you know anyone who has any
service literature on this unit?
 
It co$t me $150 shipped (used, with NO books, literature or charger), and
I got 6 months of use from it, and I think that's a bit expen$ive.  It
"only" took me most of 2 days to figure out how to program it, and it
still has features, (like scanning), which I STILL haven't figured out!
I'd like to get it back on the air again eventually.
