Hi Julia:
Just dropping you a note saying that I received your block last night.  The 
colors will work out just great with the scrappy log cabin I am planning.  I 
had a chance to show my blocks off to my sewing buddy.  She and her DH 
topped
by on Friday night and we spent a good hour just talking sewing/quilting, 
while my DH and her DH spent the time talking fishing in Alaska.  I think we 
all had a good time.  She also has helped my come up with a simple fix to an 
alteration problem I have been having.
