Hey Marcia,
What sort of "pocket parrot" do you have? Is it a Brotogeris? I have
Grey Cheeks, Canary WIngs and White Wings.
The grey cheeks were supposed to be two pairs but I think they're hens
and I need males therefore, and the canary wings are both males that I
raised from babies. The white wings are a wild caught pair and are doing
nothing.
ML>came to visit when the owners (friends) went on vacation and just stayed
ML>and some I raised here and others I raised in my pet shop. When I closed
ML>the store, they just came home.
ML>The conversations around here are pretty lively and the vocabularies
ML>vary with the bird. Jester one of the blue and golds, is the house
ML>clown. He talks very well and yells at the other birds for me when they
ML>get too noisy.
ML>I don't breed - just love.
ML>Hope to hear from you soon.
ML>Marcia
I kept two of my B&G babies last year, and along with two Miligolds that
I also bred and raised, they are MY McKids. They talk to each other but
to me they rarely say anything but "Hi!"
I wouldn't give them up for anything as long as I can feed them and put
a roof over their heads!
What is the Harlequin? I forget what gets crossed in that pairing. Every
time I pass St Augustine Rd I think of your shop (usually on the way to
drop something at Temples). She has a couple quaker babies now.
