Those US soldiers dead in the Middle East were not attacks?  After 
all, it was "Mission Accomplished!" for how long now?  

The point of fact, is that those "sucesses against attacks" that 
W clains are bogus.  The only real know intervntion was the attempt 
to smuggle in explosives through Port Angeles that were meant for 
an attack on LAX.  That was in 2000, under the Clinton administration.  

W's claim is the equivalent of waving a stick around to ward of 
polar bears on a tropical island.  It's quite effective, as effictive 
as doing nothing.
