I don't know if, given the tenor of the times, the populace _would_
throw the gun grabbers out. The gun grabbers are only pandering to
what they perceive the majority of the voting public to want.
And I would suggest that you are 110% correct: each "compromise" has
resulted in a further erosion of our rights. But we can't, imo, lay
that at the feet of anybody but ourselves.
