Maybe when you change the wire out, this spring, you can change that to 
harddrawn solid copper.  I've had my 75m dipole made of that stuff, up since 
1985.  It's the antenna I still use today.  No insulation (which has an 
effect on radiation, anyway), just bare-ol-wire.
