 would some sweet dearheart sould please explain to me what exactly
does analog mean? I mean I know what it means somewhat but not what it
really means as in what is it sort of thing.

We have a spiffy new down to earth priced ViewSconic (TM) LCD monitor; yup
the skinny! but good resolution etc so you can see it even from the
side...

The button emmediately to the power button is marked 2. When you
accidently press this in reaching for the poower button (they're all
right next to each other very spfifily- a tiny blue window thingy
pops up briefly saying 'analog'. Honeybutter the Software Engineer
tells me it means input. And I should dig the user manual out of the
box that's stowed in the closet and find out whether it has to be on
or not or what.

Dam. I want some chat! I remember stuff better when I'm told it rather
than simply read it from cold clinical manuals.

How about it gang! Explain to little old me what that all there means
so I don't have to go dig the manual out of the box.
Hard work that! hehe... Besides as said, I'll remember it better.
