From time to time MS Office 2003 indicates it is installing component
features on PCs here.  I have done a lot of looking into it and cannot find
out why, even selecting install all components during the upgrade, it
continues to do this.

I noticed it happening when I upgraded my PC from Office 2000 to 2003 and
realized this would cause great consternation from my users. Naturally even
though I told them this would happen and just let it finish they continue
to ask why for the love of god is this happening to them.  

Scratch installs, selecting all components, full admin rights, you name it
I've tried it.

Anyone else seen this?  Hell it even happens not starting an Office
application which leads me to believe it is a DLL hell child.
