BK>  The tape is used on motor connections. Those run at temperatures

Ours has to handle external conditions, freeze-thaw and salt water spray
which ¨crusts it all up.  I'm sure your stuff is good for internal 'just
heat' uses ¨though.  There's a tape we use in conjunction with the 'goop'. 
Alone, it wont ¨work.
