Mine is an evaluation piece, but it is a lower quality than full production, 
if anything.  No, it is not "souped up".........

I suppose..........  :-/    RG-11 is pretty hard to work with, but can be 
fitted with a BNC better than RG-59 or RG-6.

Twisted pair goes against my grain, and apparently yours, too.  There isn't 
much wrong with it, though, because it is a "balanced line" that is not 
really susceptible to noise pickup like people think.  I prefer coax and 
shielded conductors for everything, but TP ain't all that bad.

I had that same concern, but I hung mine in a tower case, and after it was 
screwed down, the sucker sits like a granite block.......solid.  I have no 
concerns about that any more.  A support is not required at all.
