 Thanks to a ZIP backup its all running (knock wood) properly now.
 The point software is ok,the internet stuff still has a few bugs to fix on 
the connection side for the modem.
 Funny how I can get a reliable connect from good ole DOS and the fancy NT 
connect to my provider craps out so many times.
 Maybe we should all go back to using DOS?!!
 On a sad note my trapped dipole is now a scrap dipole.
 I only had it up 4 years and the ice did in one trap.
 Not bad I thought until I got it all down and looked closely at the wire 
between the traps. The stranded 16 guage it came with from B&W was history.
 Brittle,and corroded so bad I could snap it apart with my hands.
 In the spring I'll re-do it with new wire and try a clear coat laquer on it
to protect it from the weather and see how that lasts.
