II>I am looking for a program that reads CW from a
II>receiver/tranciever
I found a Morse decoder on the Internet:
http://home.t-online.de/home/polar.electric/morse03.htm
Which you can try free for 30 days. Once you get it, install
it, and run it for the first time... it displays some numbers, which
you must email to the creator (Norbert Pieper). He will send you a
code that will unlock the program for 30 days. I believe it works on
computers with Sound Blaster compatible sound cards. I am using a Pro Audio
Spectrum 16 and it works just fine. You just plug a mic into the sound card
and put the mic near you speaker and adjust the controls (configure the
program) and it will decode the CW. It works better on computer generated
cw, as most of the cw operators I've decoded (including myself) are a
little sloppy; eg; it may decode my "6" as "TH" and "M" as "TT"... and
other stuff like that.
