An economic system by itself (capitalism, socialism, communism etc) is 
not a guarantee from getting into a cage of unfreedom. Dictatorship 
never was a thing any people could want when they build socialism or 
communism. Dictatorship can happen in a country of any political system.

The main danger is an appearance of the situation, when freedoms are 
limited under some noble pretext, which often sounds very convincingly. 
"Ah, enemies, spies and terrorists are around us! We should introduce 
new rigid, merciless laws, check mail and the press, make warrantless 
searching, keep people in prison without trial!" and so on of this kind. 
And, imperceptibly, the country finds itself in the grip of an 
authoritarian power, and when they make protests they get arrests, 
buttons on their heads, rubber bullets and so on. "You pushed a 
policeman on his shoulder!" "You refuse to obey to the arrest you 
consider unlawful!" Now it is a criminal act! And finally freedom 
disappears from such a country.

There is a clear difference between Fascism and Communism. The people 
under Communist propaganda always dream of bright, fair future world for 
all nations on Earth. Even during the WW2 the Soviet people didn't hate 
Germans as a nation. They fought against Fascism and its soldiers. The 
North Koreans surely are able to die for their land, and IMHO it is a 
completely wrong propaganda that they want to destroy the US or other 
countries. All we see now is a paranoiac reaction on threats from South 
Korea and the US. The only way out is an open and friendly policy. Let's 
them realize that nobody wants to attack them. Although I am not sure 
that it is the case.
