Mike,
Funny you ask just today. I installed Ubuntu today (in a VMware machine)
and am quite impressed with version 6.06. Flawless installation (except
that I yet have to find out how to get to the root password), looks very
good, lots of software, etc.
I intend to start using it in a VM on a daily basis and see how far I get.
It might be that I will switch from Windows with Linux in a VM to Linux
with Windows in a VM - this WGA mess doesn't help Windows much.
