Other nations became common names, too, also because of prevailing prejudices, like Welsh-anything or Dutch-anything, meaning unsophisticated (eg. Welsh comb(running your fingers through your hair); Dutch Auction (diminishing prices, daily, to appeal to those who won't pay a good price today if they can wait for a better one tomorrow); Welsh Rabbit (a meatless cheese dish), et al.
