Hello Russ!
RW> This Echo is not dead, it is just a VERY slow one.
RW> The author is in the process of moving to the west coast(so I hear).
Maybe you can help. I have a script that my BBS spawns to dial and retrieve
the local weather forcast from a service. It is reliable about 90% of the
time. The reliability isn't the problem, but when it fails to complete the
script, TM just sits there, the other end times out, logs me off, and
Telemate stays in terminal mode until I come along and exit it.
Here's my question: Is there a script command that will exit the script after
xxx minutes, even if it's not completed? I'd much rather deal with an out of
date weather forcast than an idle BBS.
Thanks in advance!
Bill
