Hello andrew. 10 Feb 03 09:33, you wrote to me: >> Well, if IREX would have run on FreeBSD, I might still be running >> it here, despite the better local Linux support, or the devices >> being named differently, and a few other things, including that it >> is easier to get copies of Linux here. ac> This is wandering off-topic I guess, but you may be able to find out ac> why it's not working using truss (which is similar to strace found in ac> Linux and Cygwin), which gives you a list of some common system calls, ac> parameters used by the application and return values. Well, IREX is core dumped, if memory serves. Charles Cruden the authour of InternetRex, does not have a FreeBSD system to develop on, and does not percieve FreeBSD as worth while making a native binary for it (FreeBSD), I did ask. Pity IREX is not OpenSource then one could compile ones own native version. I did not push the matter as I can run any or all OS versions for which there are binaries available. Maybe I should ask again, and also maybe I should get a current version of FreeBSD and try again. Might be able to get a 4.7 Release version.
