As I understand it, the noodlepicker was a tape reader device that read
strips (instead of reels) of mag tape. It stored the strips like wet
noodles on bars and would pick one (I picture some sort of mechanics
nightmare) to read then retreive it from the storage rack. Phil would know
more if he happens in here.

You wouldn't happen to know of some windows based program that can take
email and post it to a news group do you? I would love to convert one of my
email accounts that monitors security lists to a newsgroup so the posts get
stored on my nntp server instead of on the local machine. (so I can access
them from anywhere)
