No need to be sorry, at all. I saw that the makefile was in a seperate UNIX 
directory, and assumed that it would not be in DOS text file format, and thus 
did not consider the warning in the INSTALL document.

Possibly a better solution, might be to include the little script you posted 
here in the makefile, as I read it a few times more than the INSTALL 
document. Might be worthwhile, then again, maybe not.

Compiled fine.

So did TimEd, tho with a whole lot more warnings.

Am going to copy/move some of my old Squish bases over to my Linux box and 
play with it.
