Mario64 is exactly what Tom had in mind for Keen (graphic wise).  He told me
the exact layout of Mario64 about a year and a half after it was released,

when he saw it for the first time, he went "Shit, there goes my idea!".
Keen 7 will be done by whomever either deals with id for a license, or buys

from them.   There is no more discussion going on at Apogee or Ion Storm 
beyond
"There should be more Keen someday".  There truly are no plans now.
